Yvonne C. (Marion) Duchesne, age 76, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, June 19, 2009 at Saints Medical Center in Lowell.
She was born in Lowell on May 17, 1933, a daughter of the late Omer and Juliette (Parent) Marion. Yvonne resided in Lowell most of her life and attended the former Ste. Jeanne d'Arc Parish.
Earlier in her life, she was employed with Raytheon in Lowell as an assembler and inspector for several years.
Yvonne enjoyed playing cards and shopping, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving children, Denise Desmarais and her husband Gerald of Hudson, NH, Roger Duchesne and his wife Kelley of Lowell, Robert Duchesne and his wife Lori of Dracut and Richard Duchesne and his longtime companion Jessica Grazweski of Lowell; six grandchildren, Laurie and Cindi Desmarais, Robert and Meghan Duchesne, and Matthew and Michael Duchesne; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lillian and Raymond Dussault of Lowell and Yvette and Henry Moulton of Tyngsboro; an aunt, Irene Padewski of New Jersey: a sister-in-law, Colette Marion of Lowell; also many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was the sister of the late Irene Condon and Maurice Marion.
At the request of the family, there will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Prayer Service on Thursday morning, June 25 at 10 o'clock at the Chapel of St. Joseph Cemetery, 96 Riverneck Rd., E. Chelmsford.
