MARGARET A. LINDENMargaret Ann (McDaniels) Linden, 70, of Ashland formerly of Needham, died Sunday July 20, 2003 at the Stanley Tippett Hospice House in Needham.Born at Glover Memorial Hospital in Needham on July 19, 2003 she graduated from Needham High School. She worked for the former First National Bank of Boston then the Newton Savings Bank later renamed Mutual Bank. She was the Manager of the Wellesley Branch when she left the bank in 1966 to marry her husband, Richard, who also worked at the bank. They resided in Duxbury for six years where their two children were born. In 1972 they moved to Needham and lived there for twenty-two years. They were living in Ashland at the time of her death. She was a private person with strong likes and dislikes regarding people, politics and sports personalities. She enjoyed gardening and knew the Latin names for many species, also knitting, crossword puzzles (NY Times on Sunday), many sports on TV, bird watching and had a great appreciation for animals and nature in general. She had a strong loving relationship with her husband and much love and pride in their daughter and son. She underwent chemotherapy since March 2002 and entered the Stanley Tippett Hospice House on July 16, 2003. She died 2 day’s after her 70th birthday.She is survived by her husband Richard L. Linden, her daughter Susan and her husband Louis Fox, and her son Richard S. Linden.Visiting hours will be held on Wed July 23 from 4-8 PM in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham. Relatives and are kindly invited. Interment will be private.
