Hilda A. (Rose) DeMedeiros, wife of the late Manuel P. Medeiros, Jr. died at the Tremont Nursing Home in Wareham, on June 18, 2009.
She was 85.
Born in Dighton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Georgianna (Mattos) Rose.
Mrs. Medeiros was employed as a floor lady for the Imperial Knife Co. of Providence, RI for over 20 years, before retiring in 1958.
She was a communicant of Annunciation of the Lord Church.
She leaves a daughter, Zeta Rose DeMedeiros of Yarmouthport; a brother, Anthony G. Rose of Taunton; a sister, Eva Loretta Merrill of Dighton; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Tuesday, June 23rd at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at Annunciation Church at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
