Malizia, Joseph R. age 92 of Ridgefield , NJ formerly of West New York, NJ died Thursday June 18, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Lillian (nee: Bisceglie). Devoted father of Lawrence J. and wife Maria, and Gene S. Dear brother of the late Fred A. of Lebanon, PA. Loving grandfather of Jennifer Cioffoletti and husband Michael, Joseph L., Angelina and Max. Cherished great grandfather of Althea and Luke. Joseph was a longtime key employee that helped build Academy Bus Tours in Hoboken, NJ under the direction of the late Frank Tedesco; owner. Upon retirement, Joseph joined Body Rite Repair Co. in Secaucus, NJ. He was also a longtime member of the NJ/Wayne Mandolin Orchestra. Funeral service on Monday 10AM from Volk Leber Funeral Home 268 Kinderkamack Rd. Oradell, NJ then to Our Lady of Good Council RCC – 668 Ridgewood Rd. Washington Township, NJ for a Mass of Christian burial at 11AM. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories – Washington Township, NJ. Visitation will take place on Saturday 7-9PM, Sunday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
