Obituary

Staff Sergeant Edmond L. Lo, 23, of Salem, NH died Sat. June 13th in Iraq.

SSgt. Lo graduated from Salem High School in 2004. He was a member of the Air Force JROTC program and he was the operations squadron and color guard commander and a drill team commander. SSgt Lo was on the first drill team from Salem High to compete in the National Drill Team Championship and the team earned 2nd place. He entered the US Army and was assigned to the 797th Ordnance Company, 79th Ordnance Battalion based in Ft. Hood, Texas.

SSgt. Lo loved learning and was always willing to help tutor students in any grade during his years at Salem High School. He was a talented musician and played several instruments. SSgt Lo was very well liked and people were drawn to him because of his personality, commitment and loyalty. He was a leader who was respected by many and will be greatly missed.

Norman Lo of Salem, NH

Nieces Marisa and Ava Rozzi and Nephew Evan Deyak

Calling hours are Fri. June 26th from 4-8 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Service is Sat. June 27th at 10:30 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem, followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.
