Douglas Brailsford “Doug” Langley, 71, of Summerville, husband of Nancy P. Langley died Thursday morning, June 18, 2009 at Trident Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, June 21, 2009 at 3 o’clock at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 888 Central Avenue, Summerville. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens, North Charleston.
Friends may call at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville from 6 until 8 o’clock Saturday evening.

Douglas was born September 22, 1937 in Charleston, son of the late Douglas Brailsford Langley and Ellen Herring Langley. He was a graduate of Winyah High School in Georgetown. He served in the United States Navy. He was a Washington Redskins Fan; but most of all he loved his family. He was owner of Langley’s Cleaning Service for 40 years and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Sister: Audrey McLeod and her husband John of Georgetown
Grandson: Joey Kountz of Mobile, AL
His dog: Millie
Grand Dogs: Bailey and Jake Cano
