Methuen, Ma – Ann M. (Hassey) Mele, 91, died Tuesday at the Methuen Health and Rehabilitation of Methuen.
Ann was born in Lawrence daughter of Louis and Badoura Hassey.
She had been employed with the Mary Immaculate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as the Assistant Activities Director before her retirement.
A lifelong Lawrence and Methuen resident she is survived by two daughters Joanne P. and her husband Gary Hicks of Londonderry, NH, and Carol A. Yanzo-Murphy of Derry, NH, grandchildren; Laure, Deborah, Mark, Jack, Dayna, and Kristen. Ann is also survived by 10 greatgrandchildren. According to her daughters Ann was a woman from the old school who firmly believed the important things in life were family.
A Funeral Mass to which relatives and friends are invited will take place on Friday morning at 9 o’clock in Saint Monica’s Church in Methuen.
