Bryce Gregory Polites
2/1/1952 to 6/15/2009
Bryce Gregory Polites of Manchester, NH ended his struggle with cancer at the Concord Hospice House, Concord, NH on Monday, June 15, 2009. Bryce was born February 1st 1952 in Manchester, the eldest son of William “Bill” Polites of Manchester and the late Eunice “June” Polites.
Bryce was preceded in death by his devoted mother, June in 1996.
In addition to his father, Bryce is survived by his longtime companion, Pam Ring, her three children and five grandchildren, Tyler, David, Christopher, Zachary and Jada; daughter Heather Dahlin of Manchester; brothers, Jay Polites and Mark Polites both of Manchester; sisters, Dorothy Delvalle and husband Greg of Manchester; Janet Young and husband Rick of Winchester, VA; nieces Amy Lemon and Ashley Sebastien of Manchester; many maternal aunts, uncles and cousins. And his faithful kitty - Meow.
Bryce was a free spirit who connected and enjoyed his life through many diverse friendships. He had a lifelong passion for all things sports and took great pleasure in coaching and cheering his young grandchildren. His appreciation for music was also rekindled during his illness, and in his final days he enjoyed listening to his favorite group, Earth, Wind and Fire. We will greatly miss our Son, Brother, Father, Friend and Papa.
The family will hold a private burial service for Bryce at St Joseph’s Cemetery where he will be laid to rest beside his mother “June”.
