Obituary
Roland A. Bagley, 66 years old, husband of the late Mandy (Williams) Bagley who died in 2008, died Thursday at Saints Medical Center in Lowell.
Born in Kenbridge, Virginia on February 3, 1943, he was the son of the late George Washington and Frances Edmonds and received his education in Virginia.
Mr. Bagley served during the Vietnam War in the United States Navy. For many years Mr. Bagley worked as a Security Guard at Cross Point Towers in Lowell. More recently he was a delivery driver for Towers Motor Parts. Mr. Bagley was a member of the VFW Post 662 in Lowell and the New England Pentecostal Church in Pelham, NH.
He is survived by two sons, Tyler Jones and his fiancée Candy Cordero and Adrian Simmons both of Lowell; two daughters, Meekelia Walker and her husband Wendell and Stacy Jones both of Lowell; eleven grandchildren, Tyler C. Jones III, Marquis Diaz, Brandon Jones, Brian Jones, Arius Jones, Hydia Jones, Sade Jones, Mark Jones Jr., Wendell Walker Jr., Travelle Delgado and Courtney Walker; a great grandson, Isiah Jones; a brother, Edward Bagley of Virginia; two sisters, Frances Barnes and Sally Crowley both of Virginia; a brother in law, James Armstrong; his dear friend Zollie and loving pet Blessing.
He was also the father of the late Mark Jones who died in 1994.
BAGLEY- Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 pm at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 NESMITH ST. (Rte.38). His Funeral Prayers will be offered at 7:15 pm Wednesday evening. Burial in Virginia. Arrangements are by the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, LOWELL
