New Bedford – Edward H. Milosek, 71, of E. Freetown died at New Bedford Rehabilitation Hospital on June 14, 2009 after a long illness. He was the husband of Ellen O. (Neubert) Milosek.
Mr. Milosek was born in New Bedford and raised by his beloved aunt, the late Aldea Fournier. He resided in E. Freetown for the past 37 years. He was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, New Bedford. He was employed as a pipefitter by the Plumber’s & Pipefitter’s Local 51, E. Providence until his retirement in 1996. He later worked in maintenance for the Freetown Elementary. He was proud of his service in the National Guard and enjoyed his salt-water aquarium and houseplants.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by 2 daughters: Kim E. Pearson of New Bedford and Kristie L. Walker and her husband Gregory of New Bedford; 2 sons: Kenneth E. Milosek and his wife Denise of E. Freetown and George F. Milosek and his wife Julie of E. Freetown; 6 grandchildren: Tasha Milosek of E. Freetown, Eric Milosek of E. Freetown, Nathan Walker of New Bedford, Alicia Walker of New Bedford, Kyle Milosek of E. Freetown and Paige Milosek of E. Freetown; a great-grandson: Colby Reynolds of E. Freetown; a brother: Richard Booker of New Bedford; his special grand nephew: Nicholas Hamel; and several other nieces & nephews.
He was brother of the late Theresa Smith, Walter Milosek and Patrick Milosek.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 18, 2009 at the Kirby Funeral Home, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford.
Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery, New Bedford.
