In Taunton, June 13, 2009 Nancy A. (Haggerty) daughter of Shirley (Logan) Haggerty and the late Robert Haggerty, died at Morton Hospital at the age of 47. Born in Taunton, Nancy was a graduate of Taunton High School class of 1981. Nancy was a retired Case Worker for Taunton State Hospital. Nancy enjoyed playing Cribbage, Canoeing, Knitting, Gardening, the Atlantic Fish Club and especially her grandchildren. Nancy was the mother of Alicia and Daniel Sands both of Taunton. Grandmother of Lexi Marie Sands and Olivia Paige Pina both of Taunton. Sister of Robert Haggerty and his wife Mara of MN, Michael Haggerty and his wife Terry of Raynham, Patricia Medeiros of Taunton, John Haggerty and his wife Joy of Taunton and Cathleen Adrus and her husband Richard of Taunton. Aunt of several Nieces and Nephews. Close friend of Brian Arruda, Jimmie Maloney and ex husband Timothy Sands. A service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Thursday June 18th at 12 Noon. Calling hours will be on Wed from 4-8 pm. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
