Mrs. Palma Malatesta, age 93 of Somerville died Friday in the Life Care Center Of Nashoba in Littleton. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph W. Malatesta. Mrs. Malatesta was born in Canada, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Ubbeniza (Ferese) Aniello. She was a Cosmetologist and a hair stylist in Brookline for many years. She came to the United States as a baby and lived in Boston’s North End. She was educated there and remained until her marriage to Joseph. They moved to Somerville and she has lived there since. She is survived by a sister: Helen Souza of Woburn and is the sister of the late Tony, Carmen and Joseph Aniello. She is the beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday from 8:30 - 9:30 am at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
