WORCESTER-Charles J. Powell, 85, of 26 Hunthurst Circle died Tuesday, July 15th in Radius Healthcare of Worcester. He leaves his wife of 41 years, Elizabeth A. (Flynn) Powell; a brother, John H. Powell of Canada; 6 nephews; 1 niece.
He was born in Quebec, Canada the son of Charles H. and Catherine R. (Ryan) Powell. He worked for American Steel and Aluminum Co. for 18 years, until retirement. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church.
The funeral will be Saturday, July 19th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 341 June Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Friday, July 18th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
