Mr. Alfred E. Czepiel, of Raynham died Friday, June 12 in Morton Hospital follow-
ing a brief illness. He was the husband of 63 years of the late Priscilla (Palmer) Czepiel,
who passed away May 4, 2009. He was born 90 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late
Albert and Maryanna (Sawinski) Czepiel. He was educated in Taunton and had been a
lifelong area resident. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Czepiel had been employed as a cust-
odian for the City of Taunton School System for 30 years, working primarily at the Mul-
cahey School. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a mem-
ber of the David F. Adams Post # 611 Veterans of Foreign Wars Senior Veterans Club and the Pinehill Estates Mobile Home Association in Raynham. He enjoyed fishing and
was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.

1 stepson: George Palmer of Tuftonboro, N.H.

A Funeral Service will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street on Tuesday, June 16 at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Visiting
Hour will precede the Service, Tuesday, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M.
