FALL RIVER … Leroy “Buddy” Mogardo, 62, of Fall River died June 12, 2009 after a long illness.
He was born in New Bedford, MA a son of the late Salvador Silva and Elsie (Ferreira) Mogardo and had lived in Fall River most of his life.
Mr. Mogardo enjoyed fishing, playing cards, shooting pool, and drawing.
Survivors include his companion Linda Noviello, 2 sons: Leroy Mogardo, Jr. and Sean Gregory both of Fall River, 4 daughters: Tara Mogardo Menard, Holly Gregory, both of Fall River, Dara Nogueira of RI, Sara DeCosta of Fall River, 3 brothers: William Mogardo of Canada, Joseph Ross of Warren, RI, Sal Mogardo of Fall River, 9 sisters: Stella Nelson of GA, Eleanor Perreira of FL, Lorraine Servis of FL, Sonja Araujo of CT, Norma Stevens of Fall River, Francine Costa of CA, Tina Robins of ME, Rosemary Raposa of FL, Sharon St. Pierre of Fall River, 2 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. His special niece Jo-Anne “Josey Wales” Sbardella and his little pal Tom Tom. He was the brother of the late Bernice Davis. Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday at 10AM from the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours Monday 8 – 10 AM.
