Evelyn E. (Mason) Rodgers, the wife of George W. Rodgers, died at Cape Cod Hospital on June 8, 2009.
She was 88.
Born in Mansfield, she was the daughter of the late George and Grace (Wheeler) Mason.
Educated in Mansfield schools, she was a long-time resident of Taunton before moving to S. Yarmouth in 1998.
Mrs. Rodgers was employed as a secretary by Alden Auto Parts in Taunton, where she worked for many years until retiring several years ago.
She enjoyed traveling.
Besides her husband of S. Yarmouth, she leaves a daughter, Cheryl Cunniff of Raynham; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Virginia Lowry and the sister of the late Ermina Dugas.
An hour of visitation will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Saturday, June 13th, from 11 a.m. until 12 noon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
