Mr. Robert A. Ruel of Andover, died at the Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence on Tuesday, June 2, 2009. He was 72 years old.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on February 25, 1937, he was the beloved son of the late Leo and Jeamiah (White) Ruel.
Mr. Ruel was chef at Phillips Academy in Andover for many years. He was an avid gardener and loved being in charge of and cooking for community events.
