Oxford..William T. "Bill" Stevens 87, of 398 Main St., passed away Monday,June 8,2009 in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. Bill leaves behind his wife of 68 years,Elizabeth E. "Bette" (LaCoste) Stevens, 4 daughters, Sandra Chapdelaine and Susan Jarzabski of Webster, Sheryl Chevalier and Maelee Bertrand of Oxford,8 grandsons,2 grand-daughters, 8 great grandchildren,one sister,Joyce Chickering of Leicester and his dog "Rizza". Bill was born in Oxford,son of Alfred S. and Edna (Chickering) Stevens and lived in Oxford all of his life. He worked at the former Reed & Prince Company in Worcester and was a farmer for many years.Bill was a NASCAR enthusiast and followed Jeff Gordon.He also was a fan of the Red Sox and Patriots.There are no calling hours.
