Helen R. Blyman, 87, formerly of Derry, died Thursday July 17, 2003 in the Hanover Hill Healthcare Center, Manchester. She was born in Hicksville, NY on May 29, 1916 the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Tanner) Blyman. She had resided in Derry for 26 years formerly of Hicksville, NY. While living in Hicksville she had been employed as an assistant treasurer for Long Island Lighting Co. She also worked for McKerley Nursing Home in Derry for several years. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
There are no services in New Hampshire. Funeral services will be handled by the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, Hicksville, NY. Burial will be in Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY. Local arrangements are being handled by the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Derry. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
