Shrewsbury- Donald A. “Don” Rudman, 61, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 5, 2009. He leaves his wife of 29 years, Kaetrya (Kaety) Rudman.
Don was born in Worcester, son of Alfred and Edith (Wambach) Rudman. Following graduation from high school, he proudly served his country in the US Army, where he earned The Good Conduct Medal, The National Defense Service Medal, and The Sharpshooter M-14 Medal. He worked as a Senior Engineer at BAE Systems for 10 years. Prior to that, he worked as a Senior Engineer at Digital Equipment Corp.. He enjoyed photography and traveling, loved his kitties, and was a supporter of the Women in Technology group at work.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at 11:00 am in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery in Shrewsbury. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at the funeral home.
