Cecile G. Poirier, 78, of Pembroke, NH died June 6, 2009 at a Bedford healthcare facility.
She was born in Manchester on October 17, 1930, the daughter of Alfred and Emily (St. Pierre) Marcoux. She was educated in the local school system.
Cecile had been employed as an assembler for Osram Sylvania for many years.
Family members include her son Ronald R. Poirier and daughter-in-law Phyllis Poirier of Pembroke; 2 grandchildren, Jill Catchpole of Clifton Park, NY and Lance Poirier of Columbia, MS; 4 great grandchildren, Aaron, Julia and Seth Catchpole and Gabriel Poirier; her brother, George Marcoux of Gilford; two sisters, Alice Lalibertie of Auburn and Violet Deroo of Charlotte, NC; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, June 10, 2009 in the funeral home chapel. Burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery.
