Obituary

WORCESTER__Helen B. (Ozarowski) Stodulski, 85, of Worcester, died Friday, June 5, 2009 in Holy Trinity Eastern Orthodox Nursing Home, 300 Barber Ave. Her husband of 39 years, Joseph F. Stodulski died in May of 2001.
Mrs. Stodulski leaves a sister-in-law, Esther A. Ozarowski, cousins, nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her three older brothers, Sigismund, Alexander and Stanley Ozarowski, a niece, Barbara Kamendulis and a nephew, John Ozarowski. Born in Worcester and a lifelong resident, Mrs. Stodulski was the daughter of Alexander and Marcella (Kulesza) Ozarowski. She was a bookkeeper for over forty years at National Biscuit Company (NABISCO) in West Boylston before retiring. Helen was a devoted member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. She graduated from Commerce High School. During their life together, Helen and Joe enjoyed traveling and indulging their many nieces and nephews. Her friends and family always benefited from her avid baking interests. Helen’s legacy to her family will include her longstanding strength, courage and grace.
The family would like to thank all the staff members of the Holy Trinity Eastern Orthodox Nursing Home for the compassionate care they provided to Helen.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 9, from HENRY - DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours in the funeral home, will be on Monday, June 9 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St., Worcester, MA 01610 or Holy Trinity Eastern Orthodox Nursing Home-Activity Fund, 300 Barber Ave., Worcester, MA 01606.
