Robert “Bob” P. Cerceillo, 75, of Kingston and Duxbury, passed away on June 1st after a period of failing health. He was the son of the late Sophie Jesse and brother of the late Sylvia Dries. Bob was born in Plymouth, grew up in Kingston and was a graduate of Kingston High School, class of 1951. He was a lifelong resident of Kingston and Duxbury. He served in the U.S Army in 1956 and was honorably discharged in July 1958. Bob was a member of the Knights of Columbus Kingston Chapter 4480. He is best known for his 40 plus years as the assistant manager of the A&P in Duxbury and Plymouth. Also known for his endless hours at the Kingston mall playing keno. He enjoyed fishing, playing keno and was a huge New England sports fan. Survived by 2 sisters Laura and Mary Sherman, 2 sons Stephen and Scot Cerceillo, daughter Susan Cerceillo and many friends. Bob was a great friend to many and will be missed dearly. A visiting hour will be held on Tuesday June 9th at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth from 9 to 10 AM followed by burial at the National Cemetery in Bourne.
