Beloved father of Cindy Marcin and Christine Marcin both of Everett and Antoni "Tony" Marcin and Theresa "Tracey" Marcin both of Malden. Dear brother of Helen Howard of Chelsea, John Marcin of Amesbury and the late Frances Overholt, Edward, Annie and Sophie Marcin. Also lovingly survived by 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Service in the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Tuesday morning, June 9th at 10 AM with Rev. Thomas Coots officiating. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Monday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. A resident of Chelsea until moving to Everett 24 years ago, Tony, at 76 years of age, passed away Friday evening at the Veterans Administration Hospital in West Roxbury from complications of a recent surgery.
For many years he was employeed as a mechanic at Chelsea Chevrolet and later worked for Automatic Electronics in Malden. A United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict, he was also a member of the DAV and the National Rifle Association.
