Jeremiah Joseph "Jerry" Reardon, Jr., 40, of Dartmouth, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 2, 2009.
Born in Boston on October 3, 1968, the son of Jeremiah J. Reardon and the late Margaret L. (Logue) Reardon, he lived in Dartmouth for most of his life.
Jerry was a graduate of Dartmouth High School. He worked in the plumbing industry for over 20 years and was employed as a salesman for Best Plumbing Supply.
He enjoyed fishing, listening to his music, the outdoors, camping, and spending time with his family and friends.
Jerry leaves behind many loved ones including his wife and best friend, Pamela Parker Reardon; his stepsons, Jake Hebert and Randy Parker and his fiancée Antonia Cardoza and their newborn son Austin; his father, Jeremiah and stepmother, Mary Sylvia-Reardon; his brothers, Joseph, Edward and his wife Kathie, Sean and his wife Tanya Cofresi, Brian, and Matthew and his wife Victoria; his sisters, Christine McFee and her husband Rory, and Alexis Reardon; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Conroy; his sister-in-law, Cynthia Braley and her husband Allen; his many friends, especially Jay Perry, Scott Brunelle, and Chris Simon; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs, Onyx, Kenai, Sassy, and Bronson, and Lucky the cat.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 AM at St. Mary's Church, South Dartmouth. Burial will follow in South Dartmouth Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4-8 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
