LITTLE COMPTON, RI - Louis F. Finucci, Jr., 68, of Little Compton, RI died at home on July 10, 2003 after a long illness. He was the husband of Diane H. (Pettey) Finucci of Little Compton, RI.
He was born in Fall River, son of the late Louis and Louise (Burns) Finucci,and resided in Little Compton since 1988. Prior to living in Little Compton he had lived in the Fall River and Somerset area. He was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church, Little Compton, RI. He was a graduate of Coyle High School, class of 1953 and Providence College, class of 1958. He was a member of the Italian Progressive Club of Fall River. He was an avid woodworker and loved to travel.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 3 sons: Alan Finucci of Westport,Jeffrey L. Finucci of Savannah, GA and Jay C. Finucci of Fall River; 2 daughters: Deborah Finucci Perry of Westport and Lauren Wood of St. Petersburg, FL; abrother: Charles Finucci of Fall River; a sister: Maureen Correa of Somerset; 11grandchildren; 2 nephews; and 1 niece.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be from the POTTERFUNERAL HOME, 81 Reed Road, Westport, Monday at 8:00 A.M. followed by aMass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Little Compton, RI at 9:30A.M. Calling hours Sunday 5-8 P.M. Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Westport.
