Anita Marie Krueger, 38, Ashland City, Tennessee went home to be with her heavenly father, Tuesday, June 2, 2009. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2009 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Bishop David R. Choby officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until the time of the service Monday at the church. A Prayer Vigil with Deacon Azzara officiating will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Anita was born in Cleveland, Ohio but spent most of her life in Clarksville, TN. Anita attended Clarksville High School where she was a top student (member of the National Honor Society) and captain of the high school cheerleading team graduating in 1989. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Austin Peay State University and also studied two years at Austin Peay toward a Masters Degree in Industrial Psychology. Anita loved children and enjoyed being an aunt to her sisters' five children. Then, God blessed her with her own child (Isabella Marie) in December 2008. Anita was a devoted wife and mother. She was also a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Survivors include her father, Frank Krueger (Victoria), Brentwood, TN; mother, Bonnie Krueger, Clarksville; husband, Benjamin Stevens, Ashland City, TN; infant daughter, Isabella Marie Krueger; sisters, Tina Goering, Clarksville, TN; and Benita Clark (Michael), Old Hickory, TN; and nieces and nephews, Ben, Tim, and Teddy Goering and Ryan and Grace Clark. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Isabella Marie Krueger Trust Fund, c/o Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home.
