Obituary

Nicholas G. Brunelas, 80, a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away Sunday May 31st at the Beth Israel Hospital in Brookline, Ma.

Mr. Brunelas was born January 29, 1929 in Worcester, Massachusetts a son of the late George and Olga(Augustus) Brunelas.

At an early age he resided in Worcester, graduating from Commerce High School. He later attended and graduated from Wentworth Institute and Northeastern University. He worked as a manager for over thirty-five years at Raytheon Company.

Mr. Brunelas was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Lowell, the Masons Fraternal Organization, the Greek American Legion, and a former member of the Lowell A.H.E.P.A. chapter.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-four years, Mrs. Jennie (Liakos) Brunelas of Lowell, three sons, George Brunelas and his wife Cheryl of Lowell, Charles Brunelas and his wife Gina of Wellington, Fl., and John Brunelas and his wife Karen of Rochester, N.H.; one sister, Athena Kapsalis and her husband John of Naples, Fl., six grandchildren, Gina and Sara Brunelas of Lowell, Giuliana, Nikolino, and Angelo Brunelas all of Wellington, Fl., and Nicholas Brunelas of Exeter, N.H.

Relatives and friends will be received at the M.R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Wednesday morning June 3rd from 9am to 10am followed by a funeral service at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Lowell at 11 am. Interment in Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 62 Lewis St., Lowell, MA 01854.
