Gloria Ann (Coughlin) Margadonna went home to the Lord on June 1, 2009, surrounded by her loving family after a long, courageous battle with leukemia.
Born in Marlboro, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Eva (Messier) and John Coughlin.
Early on, she worked as a dental assistant and, more recently, worked at the Bryant University Bookstore and was an officer and lifelong member of the Apple Blossom Garden Club, but her first priority was always nurturing family and friends. She enjoyed a rich, full life and will be dearly missed by all privileged to know her.
She was the devoted mother of Susan Robes, Sandra and Dick Raybuck, David and Pat Margadonna, Joan and Jack Finucane, Paul Margadonna and Mary and Steve Erbe; loving grandmother of seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was the sister of John and Robert Coughlin, and Dorothy Waugh.
Visitation is Wednesday 5–7PM in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. A Mass of Christian Burial Thursday at 9:30 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston, RI 02919. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Food Pantry of St. Robert Bellarmine Church.
