Meredith, Paul R., 82, of, Louisville, passed away May 31, 2009 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He retired from Brown & Williamson and was an Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Alene Meredith; children, William Meredith of Alabama, Ray Meredith of LaGrange, KY, James Meredith of Carrollton, KY, Doris Bratcher (Freddie) of Caneyville, KY, Betty Goosey (Jim), Steve McClure (Terri) of Shepherdsville, KY, Robert Darrell McClure (Kathie) and Donnie McClure (Carla). There are 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
His service will be Wednesday 3pm at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Sherman, KY with burial in Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday 12noon-8pm at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway and Wednesday 9am to 2pm at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia, KY.
