Dr. Leo F. Broering, 68, Clarksville, died Sunday, May 31, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West with full military honors. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born October 18, 1940 in Dayton, KY son of Dr. Leo J. Broering and Mary McClain Broering. He was preceded in death by his mother. He was a graduate of Xavier University and the University of Louisville Dental School. Dr. Broering was a retired Colonel with the US Army where he served as a dentist for 35 years. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Survivors include his father, Dr. Leo J. Broering, Bellevue, KY; his spouse,
Billie Jean Mooar Broering, Clarksville; son, Dwight Broering (Lori), Humble, TX; daughter, Heather Osborne (Trevar), Clarksville, brother, Larry Broering, Erlanger, KY; and two grandchildren, Kristi and Brittany Broering.
