In Taunton, June 1, 2009 Sylvia Scully died suddenly after a brief illness at the age of 87. Sylvia leaves her husband Edward Scully of Taunton. She was born in Brookline to her late parents John & Beatrice (Mason) Repoza. She was educated in Brookline schools, and has lived most of her life in Taunton. She was employed and retired from Taunton State Hospital. She loved animals and bird watching, enjoyed sewing and listening to jazz music. Besides her husband Edward, Sylvia is survived by her sister June (Reposa) McCloy of Rockport, MA. and the late Rita, Patricia and Jack. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews. A funeral home service will be held on Thursday, June 4th at 11am. in the O’Keefe-wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. in Taunton. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours one hour prior to the service from 10-11am. Interment in Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton.
