DAGES, ANDREW E. SR., 74, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009, at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital with his family by his side.
He was born in Louisville to Harry R. and Claudine (Eckert) Dages. He was a fork lift operator at General Electric for 37 years, retiring in 1989 and was a devoted member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
He leaves behind many who loved him, including his wife of 53 years, Lois R. (Wilkinson) Dages; four sons, Andy Jr. (Diana), Timmy (Lisa); Mark (Cheryl) and Doug (Shannon).; grandchildren, Ryan, Christina, Dougie, Cody, Alyssa, Shania, Calli; brothers, Emery and Claude Dages; sisters, Zerelda Wheat, Anna Wheat, Eleanor Druen and Jeanie Heibert; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated noon Monday, June 1, 2009, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 7718 Columbine Dr., with entombment in Resthaven Mausoleum.
Visitation is noon-8 p.m. Sunday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
