Obituary

Walter A. Hunt, passed away early Tuesday morning at the Kennebunk Nursing Center, in Kenebunk, Maine following a long illness. He was the husband of Marie (Doran) Hunt.

Born in Boston seventy-two years ago, he was the son of the late Helen C. (Hadden) and Ambrose J. Hunt. He graduated Medford Vocational High School in 1949 and has lived in Medford all his life. He also served in the US Air Force during the Korean War.

Walter was a electrician and a member of IBEW Local 103, he worked for the MBTA retiring in 1985. He enjoyed the beach and ocean, summering in Kennebunk, Maine and wintering in Key Largo, Florida.

In addition to his wife Marie, he is survived by one daughter; Cheryl Quinn and her husband Kevin of Bedford, NH., four sons; Steven and his wife Annette of Medford, Robert and his wife Janet of Hampton, NH., David of Watertown and James and his wife Amy of Wilmington. Also his grandchildren Steven W. Hunt, Brendan, Garrett and Kaela Quinn, Kimberly, Robin, Ryan and Timothy Hunt. He is predeceased by his two sisters; Virginia Kennedy and Natalie Burke.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford on Thursay, July 17, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, on Wednesday, July 16, from 4 thru 8 PM. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers it has been requested that expressions of sympathy be sent in Walter´s memory to the Kennebunk Nursing Center, 158 Ross Rd. Kennebunk, Maine, 04043.
