Estelle Cauley, 89, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at the Palliative Care Unit of Baptist East Hospital.
Her work on earth is now finished and she has gone home to rest.
Estelle was a member of Ralph Avenue Baptist Church and a retired employee of J.C. Penny where she worked for 35 years.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Levy; son, Herb; and siblings, Kathleen, Pauline, Josephine, and Raymond.
She is survived by a daughter Beverly Richards (George); sons, Dan Cauley, and Mark Cauley (Patti); daughter-in-law, Marianne Cauley; brother, Melvin Jones (Phyllis); sister, Loraine Keith; ten grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 10:30am Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West.
Visitation will be 1-8pm Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be made to her church or the local Special Olympics.
