Lawrence, MA- Mary L. (Fowler) Carroll, 82, died at home on Tuesday May 26, 2009 surrounded by those she loved.
Born and educated in Methuen, Mary was the daughter of Franklin and Viola (Howarth) Fowler. For many years Mary worked as a cook at the Sweet Heart Inn in Methuen, and before retiring, Mary worked for Sweet Heart Plastic Inc. of Wilmington for 10 years.
Among her many interests, Mary Loved going to the beach, especially with her family whom were very special to her. She was also a former CCD teacher at the Assumption B.V.M. Church in Lawrence for many years.
The Widow of the late James T. Carroll, Mary is survived by her son James T. Carroll Jr. and his wife Linda of Methuen, one brother Joseph Fowler and his wife Marjorie of Jacksonville, FL, one granddaughter Kylie Marie Dube of Haverhill, as well as several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Friday, May 29, 2009 from 4-8 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence St. in Methuen. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 9 AM at St. Patrick’s Parish in Lawrence with burial to follow at Ridgewood Cemetery in North Andover.
