Sister Theresa Corcoran, SC of Mt. St. Vincent, Wellesley Hills May 27, 2009. A Sister of Charity (Halifax) for 56 years. Sister Theresa served as a teacher in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and at the Academy of the Assumption, Wellesley. She was a Professor of History at Mt. St. Vincent University, Halifax, Nova Scotia and taught at Aquinas Junior College, Milton. Sister Theresa also served on the Congregational Leadership Team of the Sisters of Charity as General Secretary. Loving daughter of the late John J. & Mary (Merrigan) Corcoran. Sister of Claire Carten, Bernadette Richards, Frances Richer, Leo and Joseph Corcoran and their wives Helen and Rose all of Milton, the late John and Mary Corcoran. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Visiting hours at Mt. St. Vincent 125 Oakland St. Wellesley Hills on Friday from 3-7 PM. Funeral Mass in Mt. St. Vincent Chapel on Saturday May 30 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Needham.
