Obituary

So. Natick, Ma. – Clementine R. (Espinola) Doyle Mahoney, 91 died Tuesday May 26, 2009 at the Riverbend Nursing Home in South Natick, MA.
Clementine was born in Lawrence and was a long time resident of that city. She was the daughter of Frank and Mary (Gill) Espinola. Mrs. Mahoney was a graducate of Lawrence High School class of “1935”.
For 23 years Mrs. Mahoney had been employed as an Inspector with Western Electric in North Andover until her retirement.
While residing in this area Clementine was an attendant of Saint Monica’s Church in Methuen where she had lived for over 20 years. Mrs. Mahoney was also a member of the Methuen Senior Citizens Center, and a member of the Happy Heart Singers at the senior ctr.
She was a member of the Portugese American Civic League Ladies Auxiliary, an avid reader, who enjoyed piano and writing.
The widow of Edward M. Mahoney and Leo F. Doyle; she is survived by one daughter Ruth Gill-Doyle of Milford, one son Robert L. and his wife Pamela Doyle, of Charleston, West Virginia, two stepson’s Richard Mahoney of Maynard, Ma., and Edward M. Jr. and his wife Barbara Mahoney of Lexington, Ma. 7 grandchildren, Christopher, Jonathan, Aaron, Eric, Lindsey, Casey Elizabeth, and Paige, one greatgrandson Hogan, 12 stepgrandchildren several step greatgrandchildren, two sisters Mary A. Duma of Newport, VT, and Lorraine and her husband James Gillespie of Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Saturday morning at 9 o’clock in Saint Monica’s Church with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery in Concord, NH.
Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen, Ma.
