Mary R. Gerace, 96 of Medford MA, died Monday in the Intergrated Health Services of Medford, MA. Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Pantaleone and the late Mariontonnia (Ventrici) Gerace.
Miss Gerace died after a brief illness. She was a Medford resident for over eighty years. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a candy dipper and forelady for over thirty-five years with the Fannie Farmer Candy Co. of Cambridge.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Friday at 11 AM in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visitation will be prior to funeral mass Friday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends. Mary is the sister of the late Helen Healey, Angelina Menchi, Agnes Zuccala, Hector, Joseph, Vincent, Anthony, Albert, Ernest and Salvatore Gerace.
