Barbara (Parker) Parillo, of Stoneham, formerly of Medford, died peacefully in the company of her loving family, Thursday, at Bear Hill Nursing Home, after a long illness. She was 74.
Mrs. Parillo was born and raised in Boston’s West End, the daughter of the late William and the late Eliza (Miller) Parker. Devoted to her family Barbara lived in Medford for 25 years before settling in Stoneham 20 years ago.
She was the beloved wife of Anthony E. Parillo. She was a devoted mother to Dominic Parillo and his wife Sharon of Medford, Elaine Curro and her husband Richard of Stoneham. She was a loving grandmother to Anthony, Danielle, Richard, John, Taylor and Kendall. She was a dear sister to James, Thomas and Frederick Parker the late Mary Matranga, Margaret Alfieri, Christina Coggins and William Parker.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 3-8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
