Charlotte Marcus (Savel) of Winthrop died on May 23, 2009 at the Cape Heritage Nursing Home in Sandwich, MA. She was 91 years old.
Charlotte was born in Winthrop and attended the Winthrop schools and high school before continuing her education at Bryant and Stratton Secretarial School in Boston. Charlotte was a secretary in the Import/Export industry. Charlotte was an avid bridge player and was described as being very generous and charitable as well as a very loving mother.
Charlotte was the devoted mother of Joseph Marcus and his wife Sheila and the late Beverly Marcus. She was the loving grandmother of Todd and loving great grandmother of Jacob and Harrison.
Graveside services at New Tifereth Israel of Everett Cemetery, Fuller St., Everett on Tuesday, May 26 at 1:00 PM. Contributions in Charlotte’s memory may be made to the Cape Heritage Sunshine Fund, 37 Route 6A, Sandwich, MA 02563.
