Mrs. Nell Goar Bratton, 72, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2009 at her residence in Water Valley, MS. She was born in Water Valley, MS to the late A. A. and Allie Martin Goar. She was the Office Manager for C. W. White Inc. She was a member of the Campground Baptist Church in Water Valley, MS and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
The visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 from 5 to 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held in Paris Cemetery in Paris, MS on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Ross presiding.
Mrs. Bratton is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gean Gale Bratton of Water Valley, MS; two daughters, Paula Haynie of Abbeville, MS and Debra VanBevers of Grand Prairie, TX; one son, Keith Bratton of Oxford, MS; one sister, Joan Bratton of Oxford, MS; one brother, Lee A. Goar of Hayleville, AL; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
