Obituary

DREWREY- Randolph Weston, lifelong resident of Wellesley, and self-employed landscaper, died in an early morning bicycle accident on Wed July 2, 2003. He was 54 years old. He graduated from Wellesley High School and UMASS Boston. He started his landscaping business as a teenager and many of his customers have relied on him for over 30 years. He was a member of the Mass Horticultural Society, and a member of the Blue Hills Science Center since 1980. He is survived by his sister, Davida “Dee-dee” Weston Drewrey of San Diego, his beloved niece Emily Weston Scherer of San Diego, and his dear friend, Joanna Scannell of Westwood. He was also the son of the late Josephine Weston Drewrey and David Hardy Drewrey formerly of Wellesley, and nephew of the late Alfred Weston formerly of Needham. Randy’s thoughtfulness, generosity and caring for others touched many many lives.
