Louise F. (Fleming) Smith, 93 years, died Friday July 11, 2003 at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing Home after a brief illness. She was born and raised in Stoughton, a daughter of the late Edward J. and Frances (Bunn) Fleming. She was a graduate of Stoughton High School and had been a secretary for Avon Sole Company for many years. After her retirement she and her husband moved to St. Petersburgh, FL for several years. She had also been a resident of Belair Towers for 25 years. She was an avid Bingo player.
She is survived by one daughter, Janet Bent of Norwell, MA, one son Kenneth R. Smith of Weymouth, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one nephew, and a sister Evelyn Golden of St. Petersburgh, FL. She was the wife of the late Richard W. Smith. A graveside service will be held at Melrose Cemetery at a later date.
