Scott P. Campbell, 60, of Mansfield formerly of Norwood died on Wednesday May 20, 2009 at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton. He was the beloved husband of Donna M. (Silvestri) Campbell.
Born in Norwood, MA on April 5, 1949 he was a dear son of the late Robert and Lena (D’Flaminio) Campbell.
Scott grew up and was educated in Norwood and was a graduate of Norwood High School. For the past several years Mr. Campbell was employed as an equipment operator amongst other positions he held at Flint’s Farm in Mansfield. He had formerly worked for the former Overall Construction Co. in Mansfield for several years prior to working at Flint’s Farm.
Scott was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed deer, moose and bird watching, a hobby he shared with his wife Donna. He loved playing horse shoes and whiffleball and spending time at home with his family. He had a sweet tooth for scratch tickets and was a familiar sight at Tedeschi’s in Mansfield. He had made his home in Mansfield for the past 30 years and was formerly of Norwood.
In addition to his beloved wife Donna he is survived by his devoted sons Scott A. Campbell and his wife Alisa of Stoughton and Greg P. Campbell and his wife Kim of Norfolk. He was the brother of Roberta Bider of Wareham, Allan Campbell of Marlboro and the late Charlene Maki. Also surviving are his adoring grandchildren Dylan Campbell and Brady Campbell both of Stoughton and Will Campbell and Paige Campbell both of Norfolk as well as several nieces and nephews.
At his family’s request all services and burial will be private. Visiting hours have also been omitted.
