Davenport, Florida – Joseph C. Gurciullo, 60, died April 24th at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center in Haines City, Florida.
Born in Lawrence, Joseph was the son of Charles and Margaret (Corsetto) Gurciullo.
Mr. Gurciullo graduated from Fairfield University, and received his Masters in Psychology from the New School for Social Research in Manhattan.
He was a teacher in the Amherst School System for many years.
Before moving with his wife and children to Florida Joseph had been a communicant of Saint Lucy’s Church in Methuen. In Florida he was a communicant of Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine.
He enjoyed fishing, and had a love for gardening, but enjoyed his wife Deborah and his children more than anything else.
Survivors include his wife Deborah (MacKellar) Gurciullo, and his son and daughter Alexander and Kristen Gurciullo.
On Friday morning June 5, 2009 at 10 o’clock Graveside Committal Services will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen with burial to follow.
Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
