Obituary

In Taunton, May 19, 2009 Mary Regina “Jean” (Bradley) Bourgault, 93, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at Morton Hospital in Taunton. She was born June 12, 1915 in Weehawken, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret (Farrington) Bradley. Jean graduated from high school in Schenectady, NY and the Mildred Ellery School in Albany, NY. She worked for the Dept of Labor, State of NY and was employed as a Secretary at the time of her marriage to Arthur T. Bourgault in 1940. Jean is predeceased by her husband, Arthur T. Bourgault and she is survived by her four children Betty Potter of Foxboro, Ma., Judy O’Connor of Branford, CT., Art Bourgault of West Hartford, CT. and Peggy Wingert of Gorham, Maine. Jean is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Jean was a longstanding, active parishioner at St. Nicholas of Myra Church in North Dighton, Ma. She taught CCD class for many years, and was a long time member of the Catholic Woman’s Guild and Sodality. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Friday May 22nd from 8:30 to 9:30 am. Funeral Mass will be at St. Nicholas of Myra Church in North Dighton at 10 am. Interment will follow at St. Cecilia Cemetery in Leominster, Ma.
