Saundra H. Barr, 69, of Londonderry, NH died Monday May 18, 2009 in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH. Mrs. Barr was born in Valdosta, GA on January 15, 1940, daughter of the late Joseph and Carolyn (Smith) Hardin. She was a graduate of Valdosta High School and later attended Valdosta State College. As the wife of an Air Force Colonel, she and her husband lived in many places in the US and abroad. She was most recently living with her daughter in Londonderry.
She is survived by her two sons, Chad Barr and his wife Doreen of Fayetteville, GA, Chase Barr of Derry, NH, her daughter, Lita Hogan and her husband Michael of Londonderry, six grandchildren, Ashley and John Hogan of NH, Chad, Ryan, Tony and Alex Barr of GA, three brothers, Sammy Hardin and Fomby Hardin both of Valdosta, and Billy Hardin of Orange, TX, also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in 2001 by her husband, Col. Charles R. Barr, USAF.
Following cremation, private burial will be held in Pennsylvania. The Peabody Funeral Homes, Derry, NH is handling arrangements.
