Paula M. (Vendetti) McCarthy, 56 of Franklin died May 18 in Milford Regional Medical Center after a long illness. She was the wife of Dennis M. McCarthy.
Born in Milford, November 21, 1952, the daughter of Marie A. (Mucciarone) Vendetti of Franklin and the late Edmund C. Vendetti, Mrs. McCarthy was a life long Franklin resident.
Mrs. McCarthy was a 1970 graduate of Franklin High School.
She had been the office manager at Franklin Tire and Auto for the past 8 years.
She had previously worked at Edmund’s Auto Sales in Franklin for 25 years and prior to that at Frost Controls.
Mrs. McCarthy enjoyed going to Foxwoods but most of all spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her brothers, Edmund Vendetti Jr. of Franklin and Robert Vendetti of Onset. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Enos of Falmouth and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:45 p.m.
Calling hours will be on Thursday from 5-8 p.m.
