Obituary

Worcester- Louis J. Dougall, 84, of Worcester, died Tuesday, July 8, at his daughter's home in Falmouth, after an illness.

His wife of 47 years, Ann M. (Bruozis) Dougall, died in 1989. He leaves a son, Louis M. "Mike" Dougall of Putnam; a daughter, Elizabeth A. Bailey of Falmouth; 2 grandchildren; a niece. A sister, Susan Letiecq of Worcester, predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Jacob Daugal, and lived here all his life. He graduated from Boston University in 1950 and attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Mr. Dougall was an auditor with the Masssachusetts Department of Revenue for many years, retiring in 1987. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, serving in Normandy and the European Campaign.

He was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Parish and the Lithuanian Social Club.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, in St. John's Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA 01608.
